How to cancel CareFirst subscription in easy steps

Follow these steps to cancel your CareFirst subscription:

Enrolled Directly Through CareFirst or the Maryland/DC Health Exchange:

1. Call CareFirst Customer Support: Dial 1-866-758-6119. A representative can help process your cancellation.

2. Download and Mail the Cancellation Form:

   • Visit the CareFirst website (they don't offer online cancellation currently).

     

   • Search for "Individual Insurance Coverage Termination Form" (or similar wording).

   

   3. Download the form, fill it out completely, sign it, and mail it using the provided instructions.

Enrolled Through Your Employer or the Virginia Federal Facilitated Exchange:

1. Contact Your Employer's HR Department: Your employer's HR department handles cancellations for group plans. They'll guide you through the process.

2. Contact the Virginia FFE: If you enrolled through the Virginia FFE Marketplace, visit their website (http://www.marketplace.virginia.gov/) or call them for cancellation instructions.
