What is Beem Drive?

Beem Drive is a new way to unlock personalized auto insurance offers based on your driving behavior. Drive safely for at least 30 days and cover 300 miles and save up to 40% on the auto insurance. We will be using Beem's driving intelligence aided by your phone's location to generate a driving score, which will be used to get the best insurance offer for you!

How much can I save on my auto insurance with Beem Drive?

You can save up to 40% on your auto insurance. This depends purely on your driving behavior, so we advise you to drive safe 🙂

How do I become eligible and unlock auto insurance offers with Beem Drive?

To become eligible and unlock auto insurance offers, you will need to login and record trips in the Beem app. Drive safely and record the trips for at least 30 days and ensure that you cover at least 300 miles in these 30 days. Once you complete this, you will be able to see offers in your app and save up to 40% on the auto insurance. There is no limit on the total miles that you can cover in a day. We will be using Beem's driving intelligence aided by your phone's location to generate a driving score, which will be used to get the best insurance offer for you!

How is my driving score generated?

To calculate your driving score, we consider factors such acceleration, speeding, braking, turning and phone usage while driving. As long as you’re adhering to good driving principles, you are increasing your chances of getting a good discount! 🙂

I already have an insurance plan, will I be still eligible for the offer?

You are eligible for an auto insurance discount through Beem Drive if you are do not already have an existing plan with our insurance partners such as Progressive and Geico. After completing the program once, in case you do not unlock any offers, you can participate again if 180 days have passed since you completed your last drive.

Will Beem Drive work on my phone?

Beem Drive will work on any phone that runs Android 10+ and iOS 13+

What kind of data does Beem Drive use? Who has access?

In order to understand your driving behavior, Beem Drive uses your location, speed and data collected from motion sensors in your phone among other things. This data is used only for Beem drive purposes and nothing else. Please make sure you are allowing location permission for Beem Drive with following settings -

• iPhone: Always and Precise location
• Android: Allow all the time and Precise location

Will my driving score affect my current insurance plan?

No, your driving score won’t affect your current insurance plan in any manner.
