All the mothers and transgender women in Miss Universe 2023

Miss Universe 2023 made a historic change to its age limit rule for contestants.

Now, married or divorced women, as well as mothers and transgender women, are allowed to participate.

For the first time, the pageant includes two mothers and two transgender women competing for the crown.

Michelle Cohhn became the first married woman with two children to compete in the pageant. 

Followed by Camila Avella, a model, TV presenter and mother of a two-year-old daughter.

Portuguese beauty queen Marina Machete is the second transgender woman to compete in the pageant.

This year, El Salvador has been chosen as the host country for Miss Universe.

Miss Universe 2023 will take place on Nov 18 and will begin at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
