King Charles unveils statues for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip

King Charles and Queen Camilla honored Remembrance Day at the Royal Albert Hall on Nov 11.

New statues of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were unveiled during the festival.

The statues pay tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away in April 2021 at 99.

Queen Elizabeth, who reigned for a historic 70 years, also received homage at the event.

Queen Elizabeth, who died on September 8, 2022, had a net worth of $500 million. 

The royal couple is buried together at the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Remembrance Day is observed on Nov 11 every year to commemorate the end of World War I.

Members of the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, attended the ceremony.

Royals wore red poppy pins, symbolizing remembrance for military members who died in war.
