Taylor Swift’s 23-year-old fan, Ana Clara Benevides Machado, died during her Eras Concert in Brazil.

The fan attended her concert on Nov 17 and passed out in the crowd during Swift’s second song.

The cause of death has not yet been announced. But local reports say she suffered a cardiac arrest.

Swift postponed the next day’s show and resumed the tour on November 19.

Sweltering temperatures are recorded in Rio de Janeiro. Water bottles are given to fans entering the stadium.

“The safety of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to and always will come first,” Swift wrote.

Fans who attended the Nov 17 show said they were not allowed to bring water bottles into the stadium.

Swift, 33, became a billionaire last month as her net worth touched $1.1 billion.
