‘The Iron Claw': True story behind Zac Efron, Jeremy White biopic


‘The Iron Claw’ is an upcoming biographical sports film based on a true story.

The movie, starring Zac Efron, Jeremy White,  is inspired by the Von Erich wrestling family.

The Von Erich family was a dynasty of wrestlers from Texas with enormous success in the 1980s.

The Von Erich family was also plagued by tragedies, with members dying of suicide and drug overdose.

These tragedies became known as "Von Erich curse," and cast a shadow over the family.

The production of The Iron Claw cost an estimated $20 million, and it will be released on Dec 22.

Zac Efron, who plays Kevin Von Erich in the film, has reportedly earned $150,000 for his role.

36-year-old Zac has a net worth of of nearly $30 million in 2023; Jeremy White is worth $8 million.
