‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ had a nationwide theatrical release on October 27 by Universal.
Lionsgate confirms that scripting began as the WGA strike started on May 2, 2023.
The star-studded cast includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard.
Lillard has now expressed an “even bigger and even more successful” sequel.
Earlier, Emma Tammi said a sequel is up to the fans.
‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ grossed over $100 million globally in its first three days.
If released exclusively in theaters, the sequel still has a good chance to recover at least 10% of its box office.
‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is also available for streaming via Peacock.
