Jeff Bezos is saying goodbye to Seattle and moving to Miami.
The 59-year-old billionaire recently announced his cross-country move on Instagram.
He bought two adjoining mansions in Indian Creek, an artificial island in Miami known as ‘Billionaire Bunker.’
One he bought in October 2023 for $79M and the neighboring estate for $68M.
He said he is moving there to be closer to his parents and the operations of Blue Origin, his space company.
Other A-list celebrities living there are NFL legend Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
Seattle has been Bezos' home since 1994, when he started Amazon out of his garage.
He stepped down as the CEO of Amazon in 2021.
Bezos is one of the wealthiest people in the world today, with a net worth of $166 billion.
