Did you know that 1/3 of your life is spent at work? No, it’s not a myth, but a fact!

And if that is the case, then it is important to your well-being that you are in the right job. The saying “You Only Live Once” always reminds us that we aren’t invincible and we have a short window of time to make our mark on this world.

We’ve all been in moments where we complain about our jobs and mundane routines. We always feel like the grass is greener on the other side.

But having a job slump and being in the wrong career are two poles apart. And the latter needs to be addressed. So, if you find yourself wondering if your current job is right for you, follow these simple steps to find out!

Your work is rewarding

When you know you enjoy your job you will find your work rewarding. You’ll love adding value to your employer/client and money won’t be the sole motivating factor. You enjoy seeing results and you don’t merely pass the time waiting for your paycheck. Good jobs will make you feel rewarded. And if you’ve got one of those, hang on to it as tight as you can!

You’re motivated to wake up every morning

The right job won’t make you feel like you’re working round the clock. You’re caught up with work and completing deadlines, that you don’t know how time passes you by.
