'The Crown' Season 6 is set to be the most expensive yet for the Netflix series.

Season 5 of 'The Crown' cost a whopping $14.4 million per episode.

In total, Sony's Left Bank Pictures spent $504 million on the series across five seasons.

Reportedly LBP has received a total tax credit of $98.8 million for making all 5 seasons.

This tax credit makes the net production cost of ‘The Crown’ to $405.2 million.

The high cost is attributed to locations, costuming, CGI and casting.

Season 6 will be released in two parts; the first on November 16, 2023 and the second on December 14, 2023.
