'Young Sheldon' ending after 7 seasons: How much show made


The upcoming season 7 of ‘Young Sheldon’ will be its last.

CBS announced on Nov 14 that the prequel to ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will conclude its run on May 16.

The final season will premiere on Feb 15. The series spans 127 episodes in total as of season 6.

Iain Armitage stars in the series as the younger version of Sheldon Cooper.

The character was made famous by Jim Parsons, who is worth $160 million.

The sitcom premiered as the number-one new comedy of the 2017-18 TV season.

It remained CBS’ No 1 comedy from the 2022-23 broadcast season.  

The series drew an estimated 11 million viewers per episode in Live+35 ratings and multiplatform viewing.

It maintained 98% of the total audience from its lead-in, ‘The Big Bang Theory.’

Prior to Season 3, Armitage earned $1M, and later earned almost $50K per episode.
